However; now that I know you have the Root Beer (I'm assuming the full Everose?), I'd lean towards either of the blue dials for variety, with the white gold LB being the most different. But if you don't care about that kind of stuff, and just choosing based on those 3 references, my vote is for the black and yellow gold! I wouldn't buy a gold Sub. I'd rather have a SS sports Rolex + a SS dress JLC (MUT Moon for ex.), and extra cash to spend on nice high end straps. If I was to buy a gold Rolex, it'd be a YG DJ or DD. Maybe later when I turn 50, who knows. That blue looks super cool though.

I'm not really into yellow gold and the stainless look is simpler and fits my style more. It is the only Sub Date I'd trade mine for, price/value not withstanding.
