The camera is just an open box whereas the small has an internal divider with zipper section. My guess is they can carry roughly the same amount but with the camera it would all be thrown in and in the small it would be more organized. Note neither will carry a LOT - they aren’t huge bags. In terms of an investment the Loulou might potentially be a better choice since the design is unique to Saint Laurent, whereas camera bags styles are found across most fashion houses.

The grain leather is another selling point, totally indestructible. Toy Loulou is cute too, but I already have a few Chanel minis, and don't need another mini flap bag.

For the outside size of the bag, the interior size is a disappointment (at least for me). I also learned that I have an aversion to flap bags. Zip top feels more secure to me.
