I finally fitted out my new 2021 Explorer on a NATO strap! I work in construction management on an active construction site in NYC and the oyster bracelet is too flashy to wear at the site, in my opinion. This set up is also lighter and less prone to bumps and dings while onsite.I would say to avoid these two strap types: A. Rubber - it's very thick and looks disproportionate to the 36mm case, will make your watch look very small as a result. Exception would be the Tropic Strap which is very thin and would look great. B. NATO - a good nylon NATO will overpower the watch, especially with its multiple folds and stiffness.
