The Panerai Reference 372 is considered a "Base" Panerai, meaning it only has a Minute and Hour hand, which gives is a stunningly simple, streamlined, balanced, highly symmetrical look. Despite its outstanding looks, the Panerai 372 has zero bling. Panerai is my favorite brand and I kinda get where they are coming from but I have seriously damaged 2 separate 372s and practicality dictates for me a sapphire crystal. Saphires arent indistructable!

I like to think of the tan hands and markers as the watch having a beautiful bronze suntan. Contrast this with the vintage 6152-1 having mint-green lume.
The dial is protected by a domed Plexiglas® crystal which is 3mm in thickness - another clear tip-of-the-hat to vintage model Panerai watches from decades past.
