The Milgauss Z Blue has an electric blue dial, which is the perfect allusion to the symbolical lighting bolt shaped seconds hand. It’s a metallic blue so it pops gorgeously. It can also look slightly green depending on how the light hits it and what angle you are viewing it from. The watch sits higher on the wrist compared to the Datejust 41mm that I previously owned but that didn’t bother me at all and it fits under the cuff just as easily. It is also slightly more comfortable than my Rolex Submariner which now feels heavier compared to the Milgauss.Additionally, the white dial option has been discontinued, and instead, the Milgauss ref. 116400 can be purchased with either an electric blue dial coated in zirconium that Rolex aptly calls “Z-blue” or a black dial with luminescent orange hour markers that first appeared on the anniversary edition of the Milgauss. Hands-on with the Rolex Milgauss Z Blue Dial 116400GV watch for 2014 with the Z blue metallic dial color.
