I've seen a few with a serial number over 10000 but I thought that only 5,900 were ever produced?This lovely condition Omega ‘53 has a faded lume Titrium British MoD “Fat Arrow” dial and original inner soft iron Dust Cover and Crenelated Movement Ring. It has all the correct military issue markings on the caseback.

Omega 1953 RAF "Fat Arrow" Pilots Wristwatch, ordered during the Cold War by the British Air Ministry, features a 283 calibre shockproof movement.The Omega ‘Fat Arrow’ is a British Air Ministry (RAF) issued wristwatch. Its official title as denoted inside the case back by Omega is the 2777-1 SC. Manufactured to the precise specifications of the Air Ministry in 1952 and delivered only in 1953 for one year to the Royal Air Force.This watch is extremely rare and one of the most highly collectible British Military watches.
