The Palms does have a shuttle but it only runs twice a day- 11 and 2-that's it (I just called) You would not want to walk from the strip. It is not a pleasant walk- narrow sidewalks, crossing two ramps, dark areas, etc. Take the Rio shuttle, cross Valley View-this is a lightly used street-I never bothered going the traffic light.
