I don’t have many rolex watches in my collection, but there is always a datejust. I personally like the 36mm version with the jubilee bracelet and the 18K white gold fluted bezel. But I think the most overlooked element of the datejust line .
I am a watch enthusiast who has really been passed down my grandfather's Rolex Datejust 16013 from the 1980, and I am looking for advice on how to proceed with its service and a dial change. I took my Datejust to a local Rolex Service Center, and the watchmaker told me that the Rolex has mechanical problems. Should I send my Rolex for a "Complete Maintenance Service + Repair"? Or just a "Repair"?
