It has a polished case, whereas the 312, 321, 351, etc. all have brushed cases. The obvious difference is the 11-numeral dial whereas most PAM have 3 or 4 cardinal numerals with “sticks” marking 5, 10, etc. I prefer 312 rather than 359 because of crystal clarity and reflection and because of lume. These 312/320/329 have indeed excellent lume. And this is not my best lume pic.

It just fits the brand better than a very fine, decorated calibre. But I like its features even more: the hour hand can be adjusted independently of the minute hand e. g. in case you are travelling (or to set the date) and it has three days power reserve. Both are 42mm with sandwich dials. Pros for the 392: iconic 1950's case; date complication; classic crown guard makes it instantly recognizable. Cons for the 392: I have heard that it sits disproportionately tall for its width and is a bit bulky; perhaps a bit too much "flash." So, what we get with this new 2021 Seamaster 300 update is METAS certification and a host of small but significant changes. While visually, it appears remarkably similar to the outgoing model. Dig deeper, and you’ll notice the subtle tweaks equate to a far more visually arresting dive watch.
