rolex explorer ii update

The 226570 doesn't see a diameter change like the Sub did and its lug-to-lug is also the same, but it does have a narrower tapering of the lugs (material was taken from the inside) .,175.00,950.00

,995.00K+ I prefer the proportions of the old bracelet, but the modern oyster, movement upgrades, warranty and 10 year service interval are just too good to pass up at retail price. .

I was allotted a new 2021 Explorer II (226570) today and posted some rough dimensions in another thread. I thought I would follow up with some more detail. All measurements taken with digital calipers and a kitchen scale. Case Dimensions. The 226570 doesn't see a diameter change like the Sub did and its lug-to-lug is also the same, but it does have a narrower tapering of the lugs (material was taken from the inside) and a slightly wider Oyster bracelet nestled in between. The lug-to-lug is the distance between the top top of the lug and the very bottom, as seen in the photo below. It is often confused with lug width, but this is the distance between the lugs, where the strap or bracelet is attached. These . I prefer the proportions of the old bracelet, but the modern oyster, movement upgrades, warranty and 10 year service interval are just too good to pass up at retail price. 114270: Case (4 to 10 o clock): 36.15. Lug to lug: 43.9. Thickness: 11.05.

Between the calipers, it actually measures a hair under 36mm when measured from 3:17 to 9:47 (you get to 36mm when taking the measurement between 2:11 and 8:41). From lug tip to lug tip you’ll get 43mm on the dot and thickness is 11.5mm. All in all, a tidy little footprint with a squat presence on the wrist. I'm incredibly interested in the new 40mm explorer - but I tend to be sensitive to lug to lug. Anyone know the measurement? I haven't been able to find it. I have smaller ( just under 7" ), but very flat wrists, that can wear larger watches..but I have to keep the width in mind. I had a 39mm Explorer before and although the watch itself was a bit too big for my wrist, the fit was perfect. My guess is that the extra lug to lug length compared with the 36 was just what I needed to make it perfect. Some people asked me about some specific measurements of the new 2021 Explorer 124270, (thickness etc. ), so I thought I make some measurements and post them here. Hope this helps. I thought I add a couple of comparison pictures between 36 mm Explorer and my wife’s 31mm DateJust with diamond bezel.

An update to the Rolex Explorer II in 2021, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the watch's creation, seems like a reasonable move by Rolex. Any possibility of reducing its diameter to return to 40mm or similar? The Rolex 124270 Explorer 36mm 2021 - Image Credit: WatchGecko Online Magazine. Nevertheless, 11 years on we must say goodbye to the 39mm Explorer as the 36mm is back. As you might expect, the new 36 Explorer (reference 124270) from Rolex feels extremely familiar to previous 36mm examples.
