K+K+I’ve just bought the 124270 2022 model. I actually love it on the OEM strap but would like to try it on other straps (NATO etc). What strap recommendations do you have? I have not found any strap combo that looks nice on Rolex explorer (or Sub maxi case) so keeping mine on bracelet. I do have lots of straps and pair them with my watches but explorer ain’t speedmaster which is the true strap monster.

As excellent as the Oyster bracelet may be, the Explorer is known to be something of a strap monster, as they say. Yes, the 19mm lug span is a bit annoying here, but thankfully we’re spoiled for choice when it comes to third party straps in . I have recently acquired a new Explorer 36mm, and having a hard time finding the right bracelet fit. No matter how I play with links, micro adjustment, easy link, it’s always either too tight or too loose.Customize your Explorer 36mm with Swiss-made rubber bands made out of the highest quality soft, pliable, and vulcanized rubber. All I am sure can be overcome with an alternative strap arrangement to take advantage of the better 3230 movement and face features / lume provided by the 124270. Although there are many things I love about the 124270 compared to its predecessor, the change in lug width seems to have impacted the available strap/bracelet options that you can use to change up the watch. Does anyone have suggestions for any high quality NATO/leather straps/bracelets that work with the 124270 model?
