I got my first Burberry trench, but the sleeves needs to be shortened. Do you usually move the loops up to maintain the proportions? The department store’s seamstress warned me that moving the loops might leave really bad marks, and she would not recommend it. My issue is, I seem to not be able to find a Burberry's trenchcoat without D-rings on the belt, but with stitch lines. Does anybody know if the stitch lines maybe phased out of production before the D-rings did? Got a 3/4 inch hole on my Burberry trenchcoat. I've emailed a couple tailors and they all proposed different solutions: Tailor 1: Put a patch inside (underneath the hole) and sew above. Will be visible but it's cheap and simple and they said that's enough for a small cut. Tailor 2: Invisible mending.
